The World of Bees

Join local bee expert and educator Tony McNamara (Surfcoast Honey) to learn fascinating facts about bee behaviour, honey making and how to draw native bees to our gardens. You will come away with a greater understanding of our pollinator friends and how we can support them!

The session will cover:

• The different castes and lifespans of bees
• How bees communicate with each other and us!
• How honey is made
• Current threats to the European Honeybee
• Native bees in our gardens
