Residential - Reduce the Risk (RTR)

Reduce the Risk, also known as a Home Fire Safety (HFS) session, is a one-hour session which provides information about how house fires commonly start and advice on how to prevent them. It’s delivered by a qualified CFA fire safety presenter. It also provides advice about fire blankets and fire extinguishers and provides an opportunity to start to develop a home fire escape plan.

• Increase awareness of the common causes of fires in the home
• Increase understanding of the ways of preventing and dealing with fire emergencies
• Encourage people to become better prepared to deal with a house fire
